Steri-Animal needs drivers, trappers and fundraisers

Drivers

STERI-ANIMAL very much needs drivers to transport our animals to vets and adoption clinics, and to special events. We also need drivers to occasionally bring catfood donations to fosters and animal shelters. The more drivers we have, the easier it is on everone. Please help us if you can.

Trappers (humane)

STERI-ANIMAL's mission is to decrease the cat overpopulation in Montreal by trapping, spaying or neutering and releasing stray cats who are being fed by neighbors. We try to find permanent homes for strays who are less feral and could be adoptable. The more animals we can spay or neuter, the more we can stop animals from multiplying. However, we need your help in catching them, as this can be a challenging task.

If there are stray cats in your neigbourhood or in a neighbourhood that we identify, we will train you to trap them with one of our "baited" humane traps. These traps do not hurt animals, and remember, we are doing this for their own good, so that we can get them spayed or neutered. In addition to trapping instruction, we will coordiante the vet visits for spay/neuter and provide other support. If you can spare an occasional day, please help us to help them in this very important task.

Fundraisers

You can help STERI-ANIMAL gather much needed funds, as the more money we have, the more animals we can spay or neuter and the more we can make a difference. If you have fundraising skills or experience, if you're dynamic, bilingual, creative, efficient and enjoy thinking out of the box, we need your ideas, your talents, your time and your enthusiasm to help us develop a fundraising strategy. We need events to give us visibility such as art sales, comedy shows, etc.
