“Shelby is a totally sweet tabby.  Is still very frightened of people but is warming up to the woman feeding him (can be petted but not picked up yet for more than a second).  Very good with other cats – was eating happily side-by-side with another kitty outside.  Has the extra toes and a very distinctive mew.  Has been in the Jacques Lemaire Arena area (corner Boulevard Champlain and Centrale in Lasalle) for several months now.  We need a foster home because the woman feeding Shelby may have to move.”
 
We haven’t been able to determine gender yet. The cat is quite skittish but it acts as if it once had a home but now is just scared. It is vocal which ferals never are.
