Steri-Animal is dedicated to sterilizing feral and abandoned cats to reduce the overpopulation of stray cats, in a humane and effective way, in the Montreal area. Contact us for information on the sterilization of abandoned cats and on the humane control of cat colonies.

Steri-Animal also can offer a reduced sterilization rate to cat owners/guardians on limited income such as welfare recipients, seniors, and students. An application form for low-cost sterilization of your cat can be found under the link “Steri-Animal application forms”.

Steri-Animal does not operate a shelter and cannot accept cats or kittens from individuals in the community. Please do not contact Steri-Animal if you are looking for a home for a cat/kitten. A Google search will provide a list of several organizations in the Montreal area that may re-home cats/kittens.

Steri-Animal needs temporary foster homes for cats/kittens as part of our sterilization programs. Please contact us to foster a cat/kitten. Alternatively, you may fill out a Foster Application form under the link “Steri-Animal application forms

All donations are gratefully accepted at all times.

Steri-Animal is a registered charitable non-profit organization. We issue tax receipts for all donations of $25 and more.
