Babichette had given birth for the second time on Eva's balcony. Not knowing anymore who would adopt these 5 kittens and kittens to come, Eva decided to have Babichette sterilized. Babichette was used to go into the kitchen to get food, Eva just kept her indoors until a volunteer arrived with a net.

Babichette was caught and put in a carrier. Waiting for a surgery in a large crate, she made it clear with teeth and claws that there was no way to transfer her back to a carrier on surgery day! So she went into the large crate to the vet where the technician used all her skill to get her out safely. Well-trained technicians and vets are precious to the kind of clients we are... After her spay, the former mommy cat was returned to the person who feeds her. Babichette is now hiding in Eva's home as the lady is trying to socialize her. She will continue to take care of her. Adult semi-feral cats like her are very hard to socialize.
